The following sales and delivery conditions apply to all deliveries from DearWineMaker. The terms apply if no other written agreements have been entered into between the buyer and DearWineMaker.

Payment of the item

dearwinemaker.com is open 24 hours a day, so you can almost always shop. However, it may happen that we close the store due to maintenance. You can only make purchases when the store is open and available.

To shop at dearwinemaker.com, you must be 18 years of age and hold a valid debit card, which we accept. However, if you have not yet reached the age of 18, you can still buy goods if you have obtained your guardian’s consent or otherwise have a legal right to enter into the transaction.

You select the items you want to buy and put them in the “shopping basket”. You can correct the contents of the shopping basket right up to the time of ordering, and you can regularly check the contents and the price of the goods.

Any extra payments for example freight will first be calculated immediately before you are ready to pay.

When you are ready to order, click on “go to checkout”, where you enter your name, address, e-mail, phone number, payment method and choose delivery method.

You can change your content in the shopping cart right up until you confirm your purchase by accepting and completing the payment. Then your order goes on to the store via dearwinemaker.com

The money will only be deducted from your payment card when the item has been shipped from the store.

Every time you order an item through dearwinemaker.com, we first send a temporary order confirmation that we have received your order. Once we have accepted your order, we will send an order confirmation to you as a customer, and subsequently pack your item and send it to you.

To optimize the buying experience on dearwinemaker.com, we regularly send out e-mail invitations to customers to sign up for Trustpilot after they have shopped with us.

Pricing and availability

We do our best to ensure accurate information, product descriptions and prices on our website. Please be aware that there may be situations where errors may occur.

If we discover price errors on a product you have ordered, we will make sure to respond to this and notify you as soon as possible and allow you to either confirm your order at the correct price or cancel your order. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be cancelled. If you decide to cancel your order, which you have already paid, we will refund the amount immediately.

Gift card codes

Gift card codes issued by DearWineMaker are valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

Shipping and Postage

Prior to all transactions on dearwinemaker.com, the option is given to choose free delivery at home or to an optional collection point for total purchases for more than DKK 600,-. For purchases of DKK 600,- or less, a delivery fee is charged. It will be calculated before check out in the shop section during the buying process. 

All free deliveries are made by GLS or DHL Express to an optional parcel shop, private or business address.

We do not deliver to Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

It is free and without obligation to receive news, promotions etc. You can unsubscribe from DearWineMaker at any time.

By accepting the terms, you consent to DearWineMaker sending you marketing per. e-mail, SMS, MMS and mail about:

  • Products marketed and sold directly by DearWineMaker.
  • News about the organization’s activities and events.
  • Offers, sales, competitions and events from DearWineMaker.

You also consent to DearWineMaker collecting, processing and registering the personal information you have provided.

Delivery time and transport

Delivery of goods from DearWineMaker is considered to have taken place when the customer has received the goods. All orders are sent with GLS / DHL Express, unless otherwise agreed separately between the buyer and DearWineMaker. 

This means that the goods are sent within a maximum of 5 days after receiving the order. Delivery to the buyer’s address in Denmark will therefore normally take place within 3 days, and outside Denmark estimated 7-8 working days. The stated delivery time is indicative and may thus deviate.

Regretting your order 

You regret by giving us written notice, using the word “regret”. You can, for example, send an e-mail to DearWineMaker through the “contact us” section of our website, including your order number, at latest 2 days after receiving the order.

You cannot regret by refusing to receive the products or failing to pick them up.

We will refund your money by the same means of which you have bought them within 14 working days.

You must pay for the return yourself, and please make sure that the products are securely wrapped when you return them. You bear the risk for the package and its value until we receive it. Therefore, please save the postal receipt and track and trace number, if possible.

Complaints

Your purchase is covered by the Danish Purchase Act, including the defect rules. This means that you can either have a defective item exchanged, the money back or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation. It is, of course, a requirement that the complaint be justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behaviour.

Please write to us within 3 days after receival of the products through the “contact us” section of our website, and tell us what the problem is. We will get back to you within 2 working days. If you choose a refund, we will return your money including transportation costs by the same means of which you have bought them, within 14 working days.

In the event of a justified complaint, we will reimburse reasonable shipping costs. Otherwise, you must bear all expenses for transport.

Please make sure that the products are securely wrapped when you return them. You bear the risk for the package and its value until we receive it. Therefore, please save the postal receipt and track and trace number, if possible.

If you don’t like the product 

Should the product not live up to your expectations, our Wine Master will personally help find a solution for you – on an individual basis. We do not intend to leave you stuck with 5 litres of wine, you don’t appreciate. It is our intention to find a good solution for all parties, so we can keep you as a happy customer. Please write to us through the “contact us” section of our website, and we will get back to you within 2 working days to find a resolve.

Cancellation of order 

We work fast to get the wine to you, so you cannot expect to have the order cancelled once it has been put. If you, however, write or call us, we will try to see what is possible and do our best to support you. If the order is on the way, you will have to proceed as described under “regretting your order”.

Law and venue

Purchase of goods on dearwinemaker.com is subject to Danish law. Any dispute is decided by the ordinary Danish courts.
